Elsita is a young woman who lives alone in the VonRoenn Windmill. She is taken hostage by Lemuel "Lefty Lem" Weinger, who is in search of the stolen diamonds that his prison bunkmate, Jackson Lucas, buried. She has a wooden leg, which stores the stolen diamonds, and a Southern speech pattern.
Her mother was Elsa, who was Jackson Lucas's lover, and the identity of her father is unspecified. She is sensitive to perceived mockery, and tired of her windmill-centric existence. She appears in "Pigeon".
